The Movie

Ok, with that out of the way let's focus on some of the major points of the movie.

The cast:

Veronica/ Victoria - Jennifer Connelly

The idea:

Veronica/Victoria is a psychologist who deals specifically in diagnostics - she's a natural.  1 year out of grad school and she's already published a teaching manual and done a lecture tour at colleges across America on no-bullshit diagnostics.  She is presently writing another manual that specifically targets the diagnosis of Antisocial Personality Disorder (Sociopaths).  This is tricky because those with the disorder are fucking charming and manipulative and fantastic liars, but she knows ways of making them betray themselves.  This manual, when published, will decrease the number of people getting out of crimes by reason of insanity and will reveal the 4% of the population that has no conscience. 

As she's writing the diagnostic tool, she gets two rather interesting patients.  One whom she diagnoses as a pedophile with near agoraphobic-level anxiety and another patient who just cant seem to keep his sexual prowess to himself.  She finds herself being threatened (in what way i dont know yet) and will fall prey to the last person she'd expect.
